Since 1996 ASCEND (All Saints’ Centre for Employment and New Directions) has been in the heart of the South Oxhey local community supporting people with gaining employment, volunteering, training, overcoming loneliness, making friends, learning new skills, having fun and sharing ways of combating the cost of living crisis. We are inclusive and welcome people of all backgrounds.

As of April 2024, ASCEND has become a project of W3RT (Watford & Three Rivers Trust) and still continues to provide expanding services to individuals living in the South Oxhey and Three Rivers District areas. We aim to:-

• Support individuals into education, training, employment and volunteering; providing people with more choice and empowerment over their lives.
• Develop new services and opportunities to reflect the changing needs of our community.
• Develop new initiatives supporting social prescribing, mental health & wellbeing and loneliness.
• Support the most vulnerable people in our community.
• Connect and engage the community with social gatherings and activities.
