This is a 13 week rolling programme. These workshops run every Thursday and prepare clients for work, helping build self-confidence and awareness.  Topics covered include positive self image; CV writing; time management; communication etc.   They are suitable for anyone aged 16+ who want to work, but are finding it challenging to find a job.  The ASCEND careers advisor will be on hand for a one to one guidance session to assess skills and help prepare a personal action plan.   The advisor will then support clients throughout the programme and if appropriate organise work tasters, other training courses etc.
