Information and Advice

When potential clients visit ASCEND for the first time, they come to talk with one of our members of staff, qualified in giving information and advice.   This confidential discussion looks at their training interests, what our courses involve, whether they need to access any other services we offer (such as literacy, numeracy or guidance) or signpost them to other agencies such as the local CVS, West Herts College etc.  This way, our clients are involved in making informed choices and are therefore more likely to successfully complete any courses they undertake.

ASCEND was the first project in Hertfordshire to have gained accreditation for its information, advice and guidance services.
